Fair trade

Fair Trade is a way of understanding trade in which, above the economic profit, the most important thing is about the relationship between producers and consumers. This alternative form trade is promoted by several organizations, by the organization of the United Nations and by a multitude of social movements. For XiuXiu Fair Trade is a way to contribute to the development the economic of underdeveloped regions in Southeast Asia: Bangladesh, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, etc.

The paper of XiuXiu postcards is certified by Monte Stewarship Council (FSC, certificate num SGS-FM/Bake-001405 licensed FSC-C023503) following the concept of “minimum impact”, which began in Europe with the aim of seeking harmony Between humans and Nature. The main points are: avoid the pollution of the mountains and rivers as well as not to damage the vegetation unnecessarily. In summary, it always seeks a minimal-absolute impact on the environment in each stage of the acquisition of first materials for the manufacture of paper.
